Our Nitrosomonas and Nitrobacter Biofertilizer is a premium microbial formulation designed to promote nitrification – a crucial process in the nitrogen cycle that enhances soil fertility and plant growth. This product contains two key autotrophic bacterial strains:

Nitrosomonas spp.: Converts Ammonia (NH₃) into Nitrite (NO₂⁻)

Nitrobacter spp.: Converts Nitrite (NO₂⁻) into Nitrate (NO₃⁻)
Together, these bacteria improve the availability of nitrate nitrogen in the soil, which is readily absorbed by plants for healthy and vigorous growth.
🌱 Mode of Action:-
Nitrosomonas oxidizes ammonium ions (NH₄⁺) to nitrite (NO₂⁻).

Nitrobacter then oxidizes nitrite (NO₂⁻) to nitrate (NO₃⁻), which plants can directly uptake.
This two-step biological nitrification process ensures maximum nitrogen utilization and minimal nitrogen loss, especially in urea- or ammonia-rich soils.
